Andrew & Carson Christmas Pictures

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. I am trying not to stress, but I keep wondering when I will get finished wrapping all the presents. As you know, time is running out. I still have a few more to pickup and several to wrap.

A few weeks ago I, along with the help of my wonderful sister in law took the boys to get their pictures made by Amy Callahan in Cookeville. I know you are saying, why did you do that your a photographer? Yes I am, but you know how people say kids do better for other adults than they do their parents...it is so true with my kids. I tried to get some pictures for our Christmas cards and I did get a few, but they just would not cooperate and I couldn't get the ones I wanted. Amy is a great photographer and I heard she was doing a session at a children's store in Cookeville so I jumped on it and made an appointment. I have admired her work for a long time and I am very pleased with the results. Here are some of the pictures from the session.

Please take note that Carson was not feeling his best that day. He was running a low fever & had went to sleep going over there, so it was kind of hard to get a smile but I am very pleased with the results.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BIG BOY ANDREW

We had Andrew's 4th Birthday party last night...today is actually his birthday. He was so excited!! He couldn't pick between a Spiderman party, Power Ranger party, Hulk party, or Batman party so we went with a "Super Heroes Party" and it was great. He ended up being a Power Ranger.
We had several different Heroes there...including a special visit from Spiderman and Supergirl. You won't see a picture of Andrew with Spiderman, he was alittle unsure of him, but he did get his picture made with Supergirl. Here are some pics from the night

I can't believe Andrew is 4.... It just seems like yesterday he was a baby. Time sure does fly.
Have a great rest of the day

Carson and the Christmas Tree

Carson loves the Christmas Tree and this afternoon I caught him taking the ornaments off again for the 50th time, but this time I was able to catch it on camera.
Here is a picture of our Christmas Tree

Here is Carson checking out which ornament to get.

This is the one he selected, after he noticed I was watching he dropped it and took off. I have to say it was cute.
A few weeks ago I and with the help of my sister in law (Fi Fi) we took the kids to Cookeville to get their pictures made by Amy Callahan. Yes, I know I am a photographer but they will not do what I am want them to. And they turned out great!! I will post them later. Have a great rest of the night!1

Orders Orders Everywhere!!!

OK...Let me start off by saying I am sorry I have not blogged in a while. It seems like every time I start to blog I have to go do something. I have had so much going on, please don't take it as complaining because I am not, I have been very blessed with business.

I did decide to close down the photography studio until Jan. 2. I wanted to be able to enjoy the holiday season and my boys birthdays. It is hard having two birthdays within a month of each other & trying to plan party's around holiday get togethers. OK, enough about me....here are some pics of some Christmas orders for some special people.
Someone special ordered these for some people at her church. I hope they like them!!!

This one is off to a special teacher in Baxter, TN

This G is making it's way to a special lady in Smithville.

I finally broke down a purchased me a new camera. I have been looking for a long time and found a great deal and could not pass it up. I call it my Christmas present from me to me. I feel like I have worked hard and wanted to reward myself, so I did. Here are some pictures of my little man Carson, made with the new camera.
I hope everyone is having a great Christmas season. I have another busy weekend coming up...Chris' Company Christmas Party tomorrow night, my sister in law & I are having a purse party Sat., Our church is having our Christmas Cafe' Friday night & Sunday night, and trying to get the last minute things together for Andrew's Birthday Party Monday night. I'm trying not to stress, but I feel it coming on. Have a great rest of the week and a great weekend!!

Happy 1st Birthday Carson!!

I can't believe how time flies...It seems just like it was yesterday that Carson was born. I can remember every detail of my when both my boys were born. Today I kept thinking back to last year at this time what was going on and I can't believe it has been a year.

It has been a busy weekend but we did manage to get out Christmas Tree up last night. Today at the party everyone couldn't believe I had it up already (I can't believe it either, if it hadn't been for my mother in law being so great with trees it wouldn't be up yet.)

Happy Birthday Breakfast for Mommies Little Prince.

Here are some pics from the party

Fall Family Session

I recently had the privilege of making Adam, Ashley & Ian's Family Pictures. We also made some of Ian for his 2nd Birthday that is coming up soon. I have known Adam for several years (since high school...we want say how many years that has been) and got to know Ashley when Adam started to work at MTNG with my husband. We have a great time at the MTNG Christmas Party...we (me & Ashley) always want to win one of the nice table arrangements...for some reason she always wins something & I leave empty handed. Oh well, but we have a great time.
I was so happy when they found out they were expecting Ian... they were given a special blessing with Ian.. and I am happy to say we are blessed to have them as friends. Here are the pictures.

Sail Away

First off I would like to say I am extremely blessed to have a great boss and coworkers. Like anywhere else sometimes people have disagreements... but for the most part we all get along great.

Jim Ed (my boss) is the best. My friends & coworkers, Sharon & Sarah & I are always saying how blessed we are to have such a great boss. For Christmas, he rents a limo to drive us to eat at Morton's in Nashville. Needless to say this is the only time I get to eat there. My husband (Chris) loves steaks and he can't wait to go... we all look so forward to this!!

Just recently Jim Ed had us all to his houseboat for a "Fall Sail Away" and it was awesome!! He had Spankies in Cookeville to cater the food.... steaks, chicken, spinach & artichoke dip, shrimp & so much more. We even had some entertainment, some ( not me) played "Rock Band" in the living room. A great time was had by all!!! Again, we (me & my coworkers) are truly blessed!! Here are some pics.
