New stuff

Here are some pics of some new charms I have made. This weekend my plan is to design, design and design some more. I already have 3 pieces made but I don't have pics ready to post, so be looking for them next week sometime or maybe this weekend.

Worst Blogger Ever

I have feel like I am the worst blogger ever!! I love to do this, but with our laptop on the down and we are now back to dial up Internet...yes I said dial up, it is so hard to make time. I will be so HAPPY when we get everything back to normal. I have some new pics to post.... I have been meaning to post these for awhile but with everything as mentioned above it is hard. Here are some pics of little miss callie beth...she is so cute, and has some of the prettiest blue eyes.

Lilly Necklace

Here is a new piece called "Lilly". This is a very stylish design that would look great with black, grey or whatever....the possibilities are endless. The necklace including the charms measures 16 inches. I love this.

Introducing Silas

Last night I had the honor of making Baby Silas' pictures for birth announcements along with some of him and his PROUD parents. The kid is loved more then he will ever know. He is the answer to alot of prayers and we are very greatful that he is a part of our family.

I can't get over how little he is, it makes me think about when my boys were that size & how fast time goes by. Ok, so I will stop rambling and introduce Silas- 7 days old.

Necklaces

I have been trying to work on some more jewelry and finally got 2 pieces completed. We have had a busy week this week and not been home much.


The first necklace is "Freedom"... this is a silver plated swallow bird attached to a silver chain, on the left side is a Smokey Transparent Glass Trumphet Flower Bead. The necklace measures close to 11 inches. The charm has been heavily plated & oxidized with Sterling Silver & is lead & nickel free.

Next is "Bella"... this is a silver plated filigree charm with 5 swarovski crystals on the charm, 1 larger one in the center. Also attached is 3 larger Swarovski crystals that hang on the side. The necklace including the charm measures close to 14 inches.

Hopefully I will be able to design some more this weekend. I have some really cute items I got in this week and I can not wait to work on them.



Also, we have a new addition to my husbands side of the family. I would like to welcome Silas to the world. He was born last Sat. weighing 7 lbs & 6 oz. and is cute as can be. He came home Sunday afternoon so we got to go for a little visit. The plan is for me to make his pictures either tonight or tomorrow for the birth announcements. I am so excited. So keep looking back for pictures of Baby Silas' modeling debut.



I may try to post some pictures of Callie's session that was done earlier. It just depends if I get time. I hope everyone has a WARM & safe weekend!!

New Designs

With 2009 I wanted to do start making something different. Here are some of my new designs.

Simplicity - One large single pearl topped with a clear crystal bead. $12.00

Key to the Future - One single silver key with 2 clear crystal beads. $12.00

Perfection - One silver color Fleur Di Lis Charm, 2 grey pearls with 1 crystal clear bead, & dangle chain with Smokey Stone with a silver color cap. $16.00

Nature - 3 seperate charms, long charm with 2 birds on a limb, 1 silver colored charm with a design, and 1 silver color bird charm. $13.00

I will hopefully have more designs to place online within the next few days. I also have opened a shop on ETSY.com. At this time there are no listings. When I have listings I will let you know.

2009 brings some new changes!!

I can't believe it has been 16 days since I last posted a blog. I hope this blog finds that everyone had a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!! We had a great Christmas & New Year...busy but great.

The reason I have not posted is my laptop is having some problems....It seems it has caught a virus and is doing alot of crazy stuff. We have had problems staying on the Internet.

I did take a break from photography for about a month to enjoy time with my family & the holidays. I really needed the break, I have to admit is was rather nice. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE photography and I am VERY grateful for my customers, but it has made me think about my priorities in life. I have been told by many people to slow down & enjoy what time I have with my kids...as you know they are only little once. So I have decided to make some changes. I will try to accommodate my customers, but I am going to limit the number of sessions I do.

Also, as you may have noticed in previous post I have started designing jewelry...this is something I have liked to do for sometime and it seems to have taken off to a good start. I would like more time to work on this also. In fact, keep looking back for some pictures of my new jewelry.
